Accessibility Statement

Goldman Starch wants everyone to be able to read this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or reduced-motion settings.

Standard

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and test in the source code, not with an overlay widget.

What is in place

• A skip-to-content link as the first element on every page, with focus moved to the main content.
• Semantic landmarks (header, main, footer, nav) and a single, ordered heading structure on every page.
• Text and background colours measured for contrast: body text 16.5:1, secondary text 6.3:1, accent red 7:1, all above the 4.5:1 AA threshold.
• Visible keyboard focus on every link, button and field.
• Real text throughout, resizable to 200% and reflowing at 320px width without horizontal scrolling.
• Form fields with programmatic labels; no CAPTCHA.
• No autoplaying media, no motion effects, and respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
• Decorative symbols hidden from assistive technology; data columns given hidden labels so lists read correctly.

Known limitations

Videos are hosted on YouTube and open there; captions on those videos are provided through YouTube's player. Some cited documents on third-party sites (SEC, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) are PDFs whose accessibility we do not control.
